Picturesque Phuket...

Day 2:

Woke up around 5am. After refreshing shower, all of us got ready for a whole day trip to Phi Phi Island, Para-sailing and under water snorkeling.

Our driver drove us to the pier from where the steamer will leave for the Phi Phi Island. There are three floors in the steamer, one down under with fully air conditioned sitting arrangement, another open air but shaded area with food (mostly snacks) and drinks being served and the top floor which is fully open under the sun, windy and hot, but at the same time quite beautiful to simply stand and see the gorgeous bluish green water mix of both The Pacific and Indian ocean...! As you can see in this picture, we also were one such sexy steamer which was sailing through the ocean just like a free swan.

private 'Yacht' for the Rich people!
You can also see small sleek yachts, owned by rich people speeding by leaving a trail of milky whitecap surf on the vast span of ripple less blue water.

It took around 2 hours to reach the Phi Phi island. We all got down and walked together as our guide was showing the way to the beach. We were given one sticker on our sleeves to make sure that which guest belongs to which steamer, to avoid getting mixed up. We walked through a market place where you can get almost every usable thing available in this world! But to buy those you need to be one who knows what the word 'Bargain' means!

Phi Phi Island... :-) Had a great lunch there!

Our guide led us to the beach and we were welcomed with a warm smile and a cool welcome drink. a nice buffet lunch arrangement was already set up for the hungry guests. We kept our belongings in a table and one by one went up to the table to fill our plates with varieties of sea food and Thai delicacies arranged in the buffet.
I tried literally all the varieties of sea food provided by them and specially the baby squids and octopus salads to mention. Also liked the kiwi fruit dessert served at last.
Other than lunch many people who came there prior to us were para-sailing and riding water scooters.

After lunch we slowly walked back to our steamer and boarded the second floor. Now our destination was the pirates cave and ultimately the snorkeling point near Phi Phi island. Check out the photo on your right side for the pirates caves. Those were so awesome and thrilling, just think how pirates of old times used to hide and live in these caves for days and used to plan for the next venture...!

Ultimately from there our steamer reached the snorkeling point. Most of the guests took the life jacket from the guides and went for snorkeling. It must be something very thrilling, I could feel their excitements sitting on the deck, as it was clearly visible in their sparkling eyes and joyous faces. My hubby was very excited and requested to click some snaps of him while he was snorkeling. Unfortunately, my camera was completely dry (out of charge). My brother, although, stayed back with me as he doesn't know how to swim, poor lad!

The guides gave them around 45minutes - 1hour time to spend there. The boats were creating ripples intentionally to drive the fishes concentrate at the middle where all the snorkeling party were afloat!

All came up after the allotted time and had a shower with fresh water supplied by the guides on the steamer.

After a whole day full of excitements and adventures, its time for us to go back to hotel at Phuket and relax. We reached hotel around 5pm. Returning hotel we all had cooling shower and took some rest. Around 6pm we came out of hotel to walk around Patong beach, it's nearby, only 5mins walk able distance from our hotel. Had some spicy unknown flavored chips there and enjoyed the quiet sunset beyond the Ocean... some people were floating paper lanterns as a part of their marriage celebration... that was a real heartwarming scene to behold!
